While it is yet unknown how many heads of state will attend the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon summit on the 23 September, or more importantly, how many will be prepared to make real pledges, MAPS country teams will continue to work on generating a long-lasting evidence-base for action.

We are confident that this work will provide a good basis for MAPS LAC countries to show leadership in New York City (NYC), and make a difference in the not-so-easy context of continued economic crisis and news coming from the offices of President Xi, Chancellor Merkel and PM Modi.
