Policy makers need to understand the socio-economic costs of mitigation actions in order to make informed decisions about suitable low carbon development pathways. They need to trust information from researchers in order to generate the political support for these plans to be approved and implemented at government level.

It will include an extensive Q&A session for both researchers and policy practitioners iterated in more accurate socio-economic costing of mitigation in specific national contexts.
