MASP Programme has launched its 21st edition of the internal MAPS newsletter which begins with a word of Stefan Raubenheimer, Process Lead, who remarks that MAPS programme in Latin America is entering its final phase with 5 year collaboration with teams in Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Peru; and for that reason in the early next year the team will be able to make an internal assess regarding the success of the outputs in knowledge, domestic and international policies, attributions to the programme work among others.

Brazil: IES-Brasil’s 5th and final SBC meeting took place on 18th March in Brasilia. 52 specialists attended the meeting. Presentations focused on the results of the 2030 mitigation scenarios and the economic and social implications of the various mitigation measures
Chile: Following discussions and agreement on the conceptual and methodological approach to MAPS Phase 3, the steering committee and SBT accepted the MAPS Chile work plan 2014-2015
Peru: The PlanCC Project team is currently concluding the design stage of Phase II. On the 3rd and 4th of March a workshop was held and attended by 50 people from the public and private sectors and from civil society.
