Reducing Short-Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs) Brick Production and Heavy Duty Diesel Vehicles

 

Concrete action to reduce Short-Lived Climate Pollutants has the potential to achieve multiple benefits. Focus on artisanal Brick Production Sector and on Emissions from Heavy Duty Diesel Vehicles.

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and Swisscontact cordially invite you to the COP20 side event.

The Secretariat, Swisscontact, Mario Molina Centre and government representatives will provide latest scientific update pertaining to the short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) and an overview of the CCAC work in Brick Production sector and Heavy-Duty Diesel initiative with a focus on black carbon emissions. Impacts of black carbon on health in Latin America and Asia, as well as overall impacts on mountain regions will be presented at the event.
