Welcome to the 20th edition of the maps newsletter!

It has certainly been a remarkable period for climate change: the largest marches ever, the most heads of state together to discuss climate change, and a spate of important reports. One of these is the first of two reports of the Deep Decarbonisation Pathways Project (DDPP). The report sounds the alarm: “we are on course for a 3.7 to 4.8 degree world, an increase that will be “catastrophic”. That is not a small word. Leaders take note!
