The Climate Change Management Support Project (GestionCC) completed its second phase in September 2021. It aimed to work closely with the Peruvian government in implementing and fulfilling its climate commitments (NDCs). Its activities were geared to establishing clear institutional arrangements, improving capacities, increasing adequate access to funds and information, and empowering major stakeholders through participation.

SDC’s – Lima Regional Hub recently published an article on the weADAPT platform which presents the project, its objectives and partnerships. It provides an instructive presentation of the four main results/outputs of the project in terms of management, decision-making and the implementation of climate change policies.
