The Water Stewardship “United for Water” (EANU) launches its Green Entrepreneurship Training Programme, an innovative initiative designed to promote the creation and growth of sustainable businesses in Lima, Peru.

In a world increasingly aware of environmental challenges and the need for sustainable development, the EANU project recognises the importance of strengthening the capacities of entrepreneurs who wish to make a qualitative difference that positively impacts the environment.

The training programme is aimed at entrepreneurs and people in general living in the Rimac River basin who are interested in developing ideas and/or businesses that incorporate environmental criteria into their ventures. This training will take place during the months of June, July, and August. Participants are expected to learn about topics such as the identification of green business opportunities, the development of sustainable business plans, financial education, and the efficient management of natural resources. Sessions will be led by business experts and leading practitioners in the field of green finance.

Katherine Valderrama, Green Finance specialist of the Water Stewardship “United for Water”, highlighted the importance of this training, as the participants will have the possibility to apply for a seed capital fund for their business plan, which will help to boost their business. In this way, with the launch of this programme, the EANU project is committed to promoting innovation in green businesses that generate a positive impact on our society.
