Six lessons learned (knowledge) from this first phase, which will be capitalized on in a second phase, in order to improve and achieve the expected results.

Between October 2022 and January 2023, the non-profit NGO Mecanismos de Desarrollo Alterno (Alternate Development Mechanisms – MDA),  developed the mid-term external evaluation of the regional project Resilient Andes, in order to determine the relevance of the initiative, how the impact is being reflected in the fulfilment of the objectives, the contribution to nationally determined contributions (NDCs) from a regional and global perspective, the ownership by partners, the actions’ sustainability, as well as to have guiding information to properly conclude phase 1, and assess the relevance of starting a second phase.
